WhatsApp has gained the popularity since the day it was launched it the very purpose of this app was to improve the communication process or to provide a cheaper mode of communication. The two ex-employees of Yahoo Inc. who together worked about 20 years came up with idea to start a cross platform message app which they never thought will become such a big success. WhatsApp was started in the year 2009 and today we are just in the 5th year, the app is already ruling the communication market. Every second smartphone has WhatsApp installed on it as a primary mode of sending/receiving messages and other stuff like audio/video files, emotions etc.
WhatApp has been facing great competition with the rivals like WeChat, LINE, Viber as they are in the race with ample amount of user base. The greatest disadvantage of WhatsApp is the inability of making video calls. WhatsApp in spite of becoming so much popular still lacks video calling feature. This inability of WhatsApp has become the advantage to the rivals like Viber which has attracted healthy number of users. We expect WhatsApp will come out with the solution to address this disadvantage very soon.
Although WhatsApp supports all major OS but in some smart phones, it doesn’t work due to compatibility and other issues. In that case if it doesn’t work for them in their mobile, they can use this great app in their PC. Today I’ll be showing valued readers of my blog, how can they install WhatsApp on PC and use it in the same manner as they would use on smart phone.
The process I’m going to follow doesn’t require much of technical knowledge so if you are worried about how you going to install and start using it, please do not worry. Even though you aren’t much of tech savvy, by following below simple steps, you can get the things going pretty easily. Please make sure you do not skip any step as it may puzzle you and then you may not be able to install it properly.
So the very first thing that the PC or laptop should have is emulator. To run WhatsApp, we must install any of the emulator on the PC and then we will be able to directly install and use WhatsApp. There are plenty of emulators available if you Google it however some of the know emulators are Bluestacks, SuperN64, Virtual box, youwave etc. I prefer Bluestacks as I find it simple and it gives me feel like I’m operating my mobile phone on the PC. So follow below step to install WhatsApp for PC:
Step 1: go to http://www.bluestacks.com and download bluestacks for Win or MAC
Step 2: Once it is downloaded, install it. The installation is pretty simple, just click on setup file and follow the instructions.
Step3: When bluestacks is installed and it runs well, Click on the bluestacks shortcut that appeared on the desktop and to go “my apps”
Step 4: Write “WhatsApp” in the search bar, it will come up with the result. Click on Whatsapp and install it.
Step 5: Once the installation is done, go for the verification procedure.
Bravo ! you have installed WhatsApp for PC
Enjoy the post.
